“ Amazing restaurant! We got the 8 course tasting menu with the traditional and discovery wine pairings. I’m surprised to say I actually liked the discovery pairing a lot more but both were good. One of the better dinners I’ve had in a long time ”
“ I'm making it a mission to try out the top 100 restaurants in Canada, more specifically, the ones listed in Montreal BOUILLON BILK was nothing less than spectacular, from start to finish Every single plate (we did the 8 course tasting menu) was full of flavour, rich umami goodness, perfectly balanced and tapered off towards the dessert. Will certainly come back when there's an updated menu. P.S The scallops in an Oyster reduction and xo sauce has been one of the most amazing dishes I've had in my life ”
“ I am fortunate enough to eat in restaurants all over the world, and this was the best meal I have had in a long time. Very thoughtful and creative combinations that seem I probably but somehow work like magic. The sommelier did a great job with the Discovery pairings, as well -- very fun and interesting! ”
“ Bouillon Bilk is a beautiful fine dining spot in downtown Montreal with a modern and elegant interior design. The ambiance was perfect for a relaxed and upscale meal. We highly recommend making a reservation in advance, as it’s a popular spot. While they offer a tasting menu, we weren’t too hungry, so we ordered one appetizer and one main course each and both were absolutely delicious. A great place for a refined dining experience in the city. ”
“ Bouillon Bilk is a true gem in Montreal. From the moment you walk in, you’re struck by the sleek, understated atmosphere that puts all the focus on the food. Every dish is a surprise, with bold flavor combinations that somehow just work beautifully. It’s both refined and comforting. The service is warm and attentive without being overbearing, which makes the whole experience even more enjoyable. It’s the perfect spot for a special dinner or simply to treat yourself to some seriously good food. In short, a must-visit for any food lover in Montreal. ”
“ We booked a table ahead. We were a group of three. We all ordered the 8 course tasting menu. I also ordered the 7 discovery pairings. The 8 course tasting menu was supposed to be for people who came after 8pm but they made it available for us even though we were there quite early (5.30pm). Absolutely loved each course! They all have rich flavors. The mushrooms were really tasty, with the right amount of crispy. Among the first five courses, scallop and quail were my favorite. For dessert, the cucumber ice cream was really refreshing. Definitely recommend! For the discovery tasting, I love the last ice cider the best. Fruity flavor but not too sweet. Perfect balance ”
“ Here is a very decent option if you want to try different tastes! Their dishes offer a creative mixture of flavors for the customer to enjoy! I ordered the Rabit Pasta and it was delicious! Pleasant combination of flavors. Staff are very nice and professional and they explain everything to you. They have a wide variety of wines and cocktails. And the atmosphere is very modern and nice. ”
“ Bravo! This was the best upscale food of this Montreal trip (that included stops at Europea, Mon Lapin, and Joe Beef). Flavours are well balanced and excite the palate. This is clearly a kitchen that can execute well, though I feel the food was slightly better at their old location. Holding them back from getting a Michelin star is the decor, single bread choice, bland butter, no proper amuse, way-too-many-things-going-on dessert, and nothing to take home (like a loaf of fancy bread) after the meal - although perhaps that’s because ordered the dinner menu at lunchtime. ”
